Do you deliver across the entire island?

Yes. Kauai KISS serves the entire island. Delivery is grouped by town and ZIP code at $50, $60, or $70, with the current areas listed on the Pricing page and selected at checkout.

How far in advance should I order?

At least 72 hours’ notice is recommended. Contact the team before submitting an order with less notice so availability can be confirmed.

Same-day service may be available for an additional $30 rush fee.

Will the groceries be delivered before I arrive?

Kauai KISS coordinates with property managers and front desks to arrange pre-arrival access whenever possible.

Groceries are never intentionally left unattended outside. When advance access is unavailable, the team coordinates an appropriate delivery time.

Where are the groceries purchased?

The team primarily shops at Safeway in Kapaa and Papaya’s Natural Foods. Products depend on current island inventory and may be sourced elsewhere when needed.

Are grocery prices marked up?

No. Grocery charges are based on actual store purchases, and store receipts are available.

Visitors should plan for island grocery prices that can be approximately 30% higher than prices on the mainland.

How do you handle freshness and produce?

The team checks freshness and expiration dates while shopping. Farmers-market produce is purchased within 24 hours of delivery when requested and available.

What happens if an item is unavailable?

Your shopper follows the substitution preference and product notes submitted with the order. Add brand, size, flavor, and dietary details to help the team select an appropriate alternative.

When are deliveries made?

On-island deliveries are generally completed between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Kauai KISS operates seven days a week throughout the year, subject to availability.

Can I order a restock during my stay?

Yes. Restock requests can generally be delivered by 3 p.m. the following day. Same-day requests may include the $30 rush fee and depend on availability.

How does billing work?

A temporary $25 card authorization verifies the payment method. Final charges reflect actual grocery receipts plus the applicable shopping-service, delivery, 7.5% secure-processing, 4.7% service tax, rush, and gratuity amounts.

Is gratuity required?

No. Gratuity is optional and selected separately at checkout.

Can locals use Kauai KISS?

Yes. The service is available to Kauai residents as well as island visitors.
